ACCESS FORM – MIDDLEBY INNOVATION CENTER

As visitors access the Middleby Innovation Center, they enter an area containing professional machinery and industrial equipment that can be operated for technical demonstrations. Access is permitted only after reading and accepting the conditions set out below.

Processing of personal data (GDPR – Reg. (EU) 2016/679) 

The data provided will be processed by Middleby for organizational, security, access management, and demonstration activity purposes within the Innovation Center.

The provision of data is necessary in order to access the exhibition area. The data will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law. The processing will be carried out using computerized and/or paper-based methods. The data subject may exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR by contacting the data controller.

Visitor declarations and responsibilities

The undersigned declares that he/she has been informed of the safety regulations for accessing the exhibition area and accepts responsibility for the following:

I authorize the processing of my personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for organizational, security, and access management purposes within the Middleby Innovation Center.
I undertake not to take photographs, videos, or audio recordings inside the Innovation Center, except with the express written permission of Middleby staff.
I will not touch, operate, or handle the machinery on display in any way, especially the machines that are in operation or connected to electrical, pneumatic, or technical systems.
For any information on the machines, warnings, and transit and stopping areas, please refer to the use and maintenance manual that can be consulted through this application.
I undertake to follow the instructions of Middleby staff and of the staff responsible for technical demonstrations at all times.
I will remain only in the permitted areas and will not cross prohibited areas, barriers, or safety signs.
I undertake to use any personal protective equipment (PPE) requested by staff (e.g., goggles, ear protection, non-slip footwear).
I declare that I have been informed about emergency procedures, escape routes, and the behavior to adopt in the event of a warning or alarm.
I accept that the company is not liable for damage resulting from behavior that does not comply with the instructions received or from violations of safety regulations.
Machinery, systems, and equipment may only be handled and activated by Middleby staff. It is necessary to maintain a safe distance from all machinery and to strictly follow the instructions given by Middleby personnel.
